Garen is a Tax Manager and Head of International and Corporate Tax at Base Consult.

A tax professional since 2007, Garen has experience in multinational corporations, advising clients on tax matters related to litigation processes with the state authorities, tax audit, mergers and acquisitions and structured finance. His expertise focuses heavily on banking and UCO sector, IT and Services.

Garen is a full member of the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Armenia (AAAA).

Garen holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Audit from the Yerevan State University of Economics (Armenia), certificate of the Chartered Auditor/Accountant from the Ministry of Finance (Armenia), certificate of a The Chartered Auditor from the Association of Accountants and Auditors of Armenia as well as an Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK).

He speaks English and Russian.
